What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor, moderate and manage community sentiment on Discord and help build a healthy community. Protect the community from bots and other malicious actors.
• Organize and coordinate online community events on Discord and social media channels.
• Develop processes for onboarding new members to the community. Constantly learn, research, and experiment with new community building ideas. Recruit and build a team of moderators as needed.
• Research and recommend new incentive and community-building programs. Engage in governance and feedback on new proposals and voting deadlines.
• Monitor and highlight insights within our community that can be helpful to our product and engineering teams.
• Measure and report on the success of community growth and engagement initiatives with qualitative and quantitative insights.

Qualifications We Need

• Experience with tools that optimize community efficiency and growth (Discord, Twitter, Airtable, Notion, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience detecting and mitigating spam and other online vulnerabilities. You have phenomenal decision-making skills and eye for detail.
• Gather detailed insights from community interactions and highlight critical issues to the engineering team. Ensure non-technical user questions are answered and provide users with a great experience.
• Ability to review sensitive and potentially disturbing content including but not limited to vulgar language, violent or hateful speech, indecent and other graphic images.
• Excellent written and oral communications abilities. You know how to manage large audiences and grow online communities. You have a working knowledge of NFTs and the web3 space including crypto specific language and meme culture.
• You should be ready to be an active leader in social media for Golden. You have basic graphic design and photo editing skills and the ability to create high quality, branded content.
