Looking for a Safety Manager to be part of our team in the US. As the Safety Manager you will direct the daily operations of the Safety Department, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as best practices within the industry
- Investigate safety issues, working closely with colleagues and client to avoid inicident happen moving forward Support personnel, providing training and mentorship as needed
- Review safety files for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare reports on safety activity for senior management
- Monitor trends in safety frequency and severity, making recommendations for changes in safety protocols and progams
- Serve as a liaison between the safety department and other departments within the company
- Attend industry conferences and meetings, keeping abreast of new developments in the field
- Maintain knowledge of best practices in safety management
- Perform safety walkthrogh to audit and assess the correct implementation of the defined protocols
