Responsibilities / Role:
- Formulate and implement a robust community and influencer strategy that aligns seamlessly with our game’s brand identity and broader marketing objectives.
- Lead and oversee the community and influencer team, managing day-to-day community engagement and moderation while prioritizing strategic initiatives like building relationships with influencers and content creators and fostering overall community growth.
- Provide mentorship to community and influencer leads and their team members, supporting their professional development and career growth.
- Guide and coach the team in devising effective strategies for high-quality influencer campaigns and tactics to expand our influencer efforts through paid and earned media channels.
- Cultivate a data-informed approach within the team, leveraging analytics to drive positive return on investment (ROI) across digital platforms.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and development teams to create compelling content that resonates with our player community and effectively promotes key initiatives.
- Coordinate with Marketing and LiveOps counterparts to ensure the community’s voice is central to marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Conduct thorough post-mortems and generate influencer sentiment reports that provide valuable insights into the player experience, enabling us to prioritize solutions for issues impacting negative sentiment.
Skills:
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in the global gaming industry, with at least 5 years of proven success in developing and executing community and influencer strategies.
- Demonstrated strength in analytical skills, including proficiency in analyzing and interpreting community engagement metrics, and a talent for leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.
- Solid understanding of marketing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a track record of achieving positive ROI through effective campaigns.
- Deep comprehension of the free-to-play landscape, player behavior, and a keen awareness of current gaming trends.
- Previous experience in managing game communities and influencer management.
- Collaborative team player capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders, agencies, partners, and community members, actively listening, processing feedback, and providing creative solutions to meet their needs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Marketing, LiveOps, Production, Engineering, and external IP stakeholders.
