The Social Media Senior Strategist will be a key member of L3Harris’ Social Media Communications team, leading social media operations and integrated digital communications activities. This position will be responsible for planning, executing and analyzing social media content – partnering with business segments, Corporate Communications team members and Corporate functional teams to implement innovative campaigns that directly support business objectives. The position will work on a team of four Social Media Senior Strategists, all reporting directly to a Social Media Senior Manager. Responsibilities include organic and paid social media campaign development, post scheduling, social listening, monitoring and analytics/reporting. This position serves as a point of contact for the business segment communicators, leading content creation, execution and metrics reporting that adheres to L3Harris’ social media strategy and branding requirements. Strong collaboration with the L3Harris Corporate Creative Services is expected. The Social Media Senior Strategist will ensure social media content is executed on time and adheres to communication policies. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge of integrated digital communications campaigns, social media channels, social media best practices and procedures, and project management. The candidate should be creative and a strong writer; they will be expected to produce weekly content, long-term campaigns and be able to pitch new ideas to achieve success.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience or Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
1 year of experience in Khoros, Sprinklr or other social media content/reporting management tool.
3 years of experience creating, planning, executing and analyzing organic and paid social media campaigns.
Experience with Google Analytics and on-platform ad managers.
Proficiency in AP Style and familiarity with new/emerging social media platforms and tactics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced communications environment.

The Social Media Senior Strategist will have the following responsibilities:

Create, plan, execute and analyze organic and paid social media campaigns that support L3Harris’ overarching business strategy, segment-level business priorities and pursuits, enterprise-wide brand initiatives and L3Harris’ communications strategy.
Align and partner with segment leads, functional team members and creatives on operational processes, impactful and engaging content, and continuous social channel improvement.
Establish, track and report on channel-specific goals, identifying growth areas and opportunities.
Conduct social media listening/monitoring, identifying opportunities for engagement and/or business risks.
Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
